Jon Hart Gardey is a photographic artist.

For the past 35 years he has travelled the world capturing people, places, nature and design to create his art.

He’s won numerous art awards and has photographed Madonna, Hugh Grant and Angelina Jolie.

He promises to tell the stories of some of his images on his website www.gardey.co.uk, which showcases the images he has produced over the past 35 years.

I suspect Jon Hart Gardey’s stories would have more meaning to readers if followed in chronological order.

This would portray a more in depth understanding of his feelings and development as an artist – all of which could be done through a historical blog.

I’ve always liked the idea of historical blogs, like Pepys’ Diary, which start at a date long gone.
